Cancellation Policy

Winter Reservations (November -April): If the reservation is cancelled 45 days or more prior to arrival, the penalty is one night's rent plus five percent of the lodging, calculated on the total. Reservations cancelled 44 days or fewer prior to arrival are not refundable. There are exceptions. Please read the Travel Delay/Cancellation Benefit below.

Summer Reservations: If the reservation is cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival, the penalty is one night's lodging plus 5% of the total lodging. If the reservation is cancelled 13 days or less prior to the arrival date, the entire reservation is non-refundable.  There are exceptions. Please read the Travel Delay/Cancellation Benefit below.

Cleaning

Home owner, home owner guests, timeshares, monthly stays and guests of Solstice do not receive housekeeping, however services are available for a modest fee and can be arranged by calling reservations (888) 412-7310, 24 hours prior to desired service date. For all other Crested Butte Lodging managed properties: towel and trash service is provided every other day (Gold Plus! guests receive housekeeping daily).  Stays of (8) nights or more will receive a midweek cleaning.

Deposit Guarantee

A deposit equal to one night's lodging plus 5% of the total lodging (the service fee) is due at the time of booking. The final payment for winter reservations (November-April) is due 45 days prior to arrival. The final payment for summer reservations is due 14 days prior to arrival.

Pet Policy

Currently, the Alpine Condominiums have a sole condominium which does allow pets on a pre-arranged basis. The fee is $30/night and the offer is limited to pets weighing less than 75 lbs. No pets are allowed in any other Crested Butte Lodging managed properties. Our staff can recommend local kennels for your pets, if desired.

Guests found in violation of this pet policy will be charged $500 to their security deposit credit card. Additional cleaning charges will be assessed upon check out.

Travel Delay/Cancellation

YOUR RESERVATION INCLUDES LODGING CANCELLATION AND TRIP DELAY PROTECTION. If you are forced to cancel your reservation with us because of an unforeseen covered medical reason, your Lodging Cancellation coverage may provide reimbursement of non-refundable lodging payment or deposits. Of course, emergencies are not always medical. Coverage also applies to many other unexpected covered reasons outside of your control, such as jury duty, or suffering a casualty to your home. Trip Delay: Sometimes your trip can be delayed because of inclement weather, strike, other job action or equipment failure of an airplane, or because of the theft of your travel documents, tickets, or money. Should such events delay your travel for 12 hours or more, your Trip Delay coverage helps to reimburse you for additional expenses that you may incur. This benefit is limited to $100 per day, per reservation. Terms of Protection: The Lodging Cancellation and Trip Delay coverage's become effective the first day after your reservation is paid in full. All benefits apply to you, as well as your immediate family or business partner, if they are traveling with you and sharing accommodations. All coverage's terminate upon your arrival in Crested Butte after checking in with our front desk. Cancellation of lodging must occur prior to scheduled check-in time to be eligible for coverage's. Your protection at 4% of the lodging is a MANDATORY fee and is nonrefundable. Properly documented and qualified cancellations will be refunded all but 10% of the reservation gross total. Additionally, cancellation protection is available for activities booked by Crested Butte Lodging at the rate of 4% and must be added (call 888-412-7021 to add) before the final payment is due. Eligibility: This Lodging Cancellation Protection is included and covers all guests of Crested Butte Lodging. Trip Delay Protection applies only to domestic USA point of origin reservations. Exclusions and Limitations: The Lodging Cancellation or Trip Delay coverage's will exclude claims arising from pre-existing conditions. Pre-existing conditions include, but are not limited to the following: Injury, illness, or disease which first manifested itself, worsened, or became acute. Injury, illness, or disease which required taking prescribed drugs, unless the condition for which the prescribed drug is taken remains controlled without any changes in the required prescription. Injury, illness or disease for which treatment was recommended or required within 45 days before the insured person's effective date of Lodging Cancellation/Trip Delay Protection. Loss resulting from self-inflicted injury, suicide, attempted suicide, war or act of war, injury sustained while in the armed forces of any country, injury sustained while piloting or riding in aircraft of any kind, loss or replacement of visual aids, loss or replacement of aural aids, loss or replacement of dental apparatus, participation in team sports, cosmetic surgery, mental or nervous disorders, injury incurred while committing a felony, injury incurred by participation in rigorous activities such as skydiving, scuba-diving, parachuting or hang gliding. These coverage's do not cover injuries or illness covered by Workers Compensation, welfare, or similar laws and plans operated by local, state or federal governments. Excess Provisions: all claims are payable up to 100% of your non-refundable lodging deposits.
